The first thing you need to do is call our studio or email us from this website (see Contact Us). We will call you back to chat to see what you have in mind and schedule a design consultation. Consultations are only required for children and family sessions. Executive portrait sessions do not require a consultation.

The Design Consultation is a 30 minute appointment with Diane in our studio or on the phone. We will discuss the details of your personal portrait session. We will determine who will be photographed, clothing, locations, your style, colors in your home and much more. We will show you more of our work. Creating a timeless work of art is a collaborative process. You are an important part of the process. We want to get to know you and what appeals to you so we can deliver an art piece that you will love.

During your consultation, we will set up two appointments -- your portrait session and your order session. A week after your session, you will be returning to the studio or Diane will be going to your home for the viewing of your portraits. Diane will assist you in making your selections. Please make sure that all decision makers are present and young children are being cared for by someone so there are no distractions. At the order session, a deposit of one-half the total amount will be collected and is non-refundable. The remainder of your balance is not due until you pick up your portraits.

We ask that you allow 4-6 weeks for your portraits to be ready from the moment you place your order.

Yes. If you order a wall portrait (16x20 and larger), your portrait will include a basic frame. You can upgrade your frame selection at an additional cost. With today's digital technology, you will be able to see your images in frames on your walls. We also offer custom albums and coffee table books.

I believe in printing my work professionally. Our computers are color calibrated and we work with professional photographic labs. The result is a print of outstanding color reproduction and image quality. Properly cared for and displayed, your prints should last for generations. Prints and books are archival; digital files are not. When I ask people why they want digital files, they usually say they want to post the images on social media or do their own printing. After the purchase of a wall portrait, you may purchase your digital files.

Session length depends on the type of session you're interested in. Children and Family Sessions usually take about an hour. Executive portrait sessions usually take about 30-45 minutes.

The session fee must be paid at the time you schedule your portrait session. This fee includes the consultation, your portrait session, processing and preparation of your images after the session and a private viewing and ordering appointment. Your session fee DOES NOT include any prints or products.

Yes! I guarantee that you will be 100% happy with your session and your images. If for any reason you are not happy with your images, we will retake them or refund your entire session fee.
